Sel Sanayi, a subsidiary of Tezman Holding, has been producing edible and pharmaceutical gelatin from bovine hide since 1961. In 2019, under the CollaSel® brand, it began producing hydrolyzed collagen peptides from bovine and fish, serving the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, sports, and health sectors.

Today, CollaSel®, within Tezman Holding, is one of the world's largest collagen producers.
